Become a Chamber Ambassador

Chamber Ambassadors are key representatives of the Mt. Sterling-Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. This volunteer role strengthens member engagement, promotes business retention, and enhances the local community.

What Do Ambassadors Do?

  • Welcome new businesses and promote Chamber membership
  • Visit members, gather feedback, and support retention efforts
  • Attend Chamber events, ribbon cuttings, and networking functions
  • Represent the Chamber in the community and share its programs
  • Help connect new members and encourage engagement

Commitment & Requirements

  • Attend at least two Chamber events per quarter
  • Check-in with assigned new members upon joining and at six months
  • Wear Chamber polos at events and official visits
  • Keep the Chamber informed about new businesses and opportunities
  • Maintain an active Chamber membership and complete orientation
  • Serve a 12-month term and participate in at least 50% of Ambassador activities
