It’s official: Data Dimensions will open facility in former CVS building More jobs are coming to central Kentucky. Data Dimensions officially announced plans this week to open a data processing center in Mt. Sterling.
A document management company, Data Dimensions expects to create 100 new jobs and invest $3.2 million into the project.
Data Dimensions will process financial transactions inside an 11,000 square-foot facility off Indian Mound Drive (in the former CVS building). Hiring is expected to start this fall and grow to 100 employees over the next year.
“Data Dimensions is a welcome addition to our business community. This adds diversity to our overall economy and will be great jobs for our community. They have been very easy to work with and I pledge my full support to them during and after their locating here. I can’t wait for them to open their doors and have tremendous success right here in our hometown,” said Sandy Romenesko, local industrial authority and chamber director.
To encourage the investment and job creation in Montgomery County, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved the company for tax incentives up to $1 million through the Kentucky Business Investment program. The performance-based incentive allows a company to keep a portion of its investment over the term of the agreement through corporate income tax credits and wage assessments by meeting job and investment targets.
“We are elated that Data Dimensions chose Mt. Sterling as its first Kentucky location,” said Mt. Sterling Mayor Gary Williamson. “We will do everything within our power to ensure they have an easy transition and become very successful here. I would like to publicly thank them for choosing Mt. Sterling and let them know we welcome them with open arms.”

Headquartered in Wisconsin, Data Dimensions has been a leader of business process automation for more than 30 years. The company primarily serves clients in the insurance, financial services, property capital and medical industries by converting paper documents into electronic files. Mt. Sterling will be Data Dimension’s sixth location in the U.S., a release said.
