Your local Chamber of Commerce has enjoyed a busy summer with several informative seminars. On June 25th, the Chamber partnered with the Industrial Authority to host a town forum with guest speakers Malcolm Bryant (Bryant Corporation of Owensboro) and Dr. Allison Davis (UK) where there was great vision-casting and discussion about opportunities for growth and revitalization in Mt Sterling. It was widely attended, and our community is blessed to have so many local leaders and officials interested in making this an even better place to live and work.
One of the Chamber’s key initiatives is to promote new businesses and expansions. On July 22, come join us for a ribbon cutting at noon for Ohio Valley Insurance on 2513 Winchester Rd. Please also join us for a ribbon cutting on July 29th at noon for Kentucky Oaks Insurance on 508 N. Maysville Rd.
Join us for another Lunch-n-Learn seminar being held on Friday July 24th at the MSU campus at Mt Sterling, where Rhonda Truman with KU will be discussing commercial rebates for your business. (please RSV by July 22 at 859-498-5343). This may be a very good opportunity for businesses to realize potential savings on utilities.
(*This event has been rescheduled for October. A date will be posted as soon as it has been finalized*)
